Flotation machine application

Flotation machine, flotation-cell or flotation cell is used for grading black metal and non-metal such as coal, fluorite, talc as well as gold, silver, copper, iron, tungsten, lead, zinc, tin, molybdenum, nickel, tantalum, niobium, manganese ore, coal and other nonferrous metal.

Structure of Flotation Machine

Mix type flotation machine adopts "U" type cell body, hollow shaft breathing equipment, and suspended stator, especially, a new type of impellor which likes a high speed running centrifugal pump impeller. Its structure is simple and it is low energy consumption. There is a round air distributor with many holes in the impeller chamber, which can make air disperse evenly around many areas of the impeller so that the contact surface of pulp and air is large.


Flotation machine working principle

When flotation machine works, slurry is inhaled from the bottom of the trough to the space between impellers. Meanwhile, the low_pressure air send by fan is sent to this area through the air distributor in the hollow shaft. After sufficient mixing, the slurry is pushed out by the impeller, and then goes to the whole trough. When the froth rises to the stable level, after the enrichment processing, froth overflows to the froth trough from the overflow weir. Another part of ore slurry flows to lower part of impeller for the re_mis with air. The remained slurry flows to the next trough until becomes residue.
